CLASSICAL BALLET

CLASSICAL BALLET AT MK DANCE ACADEMY

Ballet is the foundation of all modern Western dance forms. It is a highly disciplined art form combining athleticism, artistry, and storytelling to create a captivating and visually stunning performance that has enchanted audiences for centuries. We train our dancers rigorously to achieve a sense of lightness and fluidity in their motions, with an emphasis on turnout (where dancers rotate their legs outward from the hips. ) This technique is fundamental to many ballet movements and poses. At MK Dance, your student will learn the fundamental techniques, positions, and exercises to build strength, flexibility, and endurance.

We strongly encourage ballet classes for all our students who desire to learn the art of classical ballet. *Ballet classes are required for company members.
