CLASSICAL BALLET
THE NUTCRACKER
Experience the magic of the holiday season with MK Dance Company’s annual performance of The Nutcracker, open to all dancers in Wilson County and the surrounding areas! This beloved tradition brings our community together for an enchanting performance that’s perfect for the whole family. MKDA students ages 3 and up can take the stage, while dancers from outside the academy, ages 5 and older, are invited to audition for a role in this festive production. MK Dance Company members are guaranteed a spot in the show. Please note all participants are required to be enrolled in ballet or ballet combo class.
REHEARSAL
The Nutcracker is a full-length ballet production. Rehearsals for all roles will be held on the weekends.
The last month leading up to the performance, we will run the entire production from start to finish. Depending on casting, this could require both Saturday and Sunday rehearsals.
Due to the short timeframe to learn the entire ballet, if a dancer misses more than 3 rehearsals, they will not be allowed to participate.

Ticket sales begin October 31, 2026. Seats are limited. If your child requires a seat, a ticket must be purchased. If you need accessible seating, you can email the studio.
